Amirante J. Francisco, Jr.

A Brazilian citizen, born with soccer in my blood, I played soccer through high school, and in some amateur teams in my town in Southern Brazil until I moved to the United States. I Coached my son from 1987 through 1997, and consider this as the best time of my life. I had the privilege to coach house teams for SYC and Burke Soccer Club, and in 1993, moving to travel, coached the Vista
Hornets in ODSL and NCSL. We loved to travel and to play in tournaments, making friends all over the State of Virginia; Roanoke, Chesterfield, Warrenton, Front Royal, Culpeper, Virginia Beach, Stafford and Prince William Counties.  We also played in two Virginian Tournaments.

I love to be involved with soccer, and to become a Referee was a pleasant challenge for me.  And the Referees from DC/NOVA made it very easy with their support and guidance, specially Paul Best and Anita Hood.

I really enjoy officiating games at tournaments; the atmosphere, the pace of the games, and the friends you make is worth a weekend trip to Virginia Beach or Chesterfield.
